We don’t know what to say here. We all feel pretty helpless. The people at UNICEF seem to know how to help the kids in Ukraine, Gaza & Armenia (amongst, sadly, many other countries). Donate to UNICEF by clicking through this big box here. We’ll be updating our games this year but not much else, sorry.

Wściekły Pies (Polish Mad Dog Shot)

Vodka and raspberry syrup combine to make a Polish Flag shot… but this takes things a step further with Tabasco for a little heat.

WE MADE THIS!

If you don’t have a good Polish shop nearby, we have seen some Lowicz Raspberry Syrup in Tesco & Asda.

We can definitely see why it’s important to chill your vodka and syrup first, it will ‘help’ by making the shot a little smoother. Not that it really matters because you’re going to add Tabasco anyway…

We didn’t know if we could rely on Google Translate for this shot, so luckily we found this recipe in English to follow. Author Lois says they have these shots at the start of the evening – that would be one way to get your Eurovision party off with a kick

METHOD

1.
Pour the chilled raspberry syrup into your shot glass

2.
Carefully layer the chilled vodka on top – you can either do this by pouring the vodka close to the glass wall, but we prefer to pour it over the back of a bar spoon or teaspoon

3.
Add a few dashes of Tabasco

4.
BRACE YOURSELF!

5.
Drink. Don’t say we didn’t warn you….
