We don’t know what to say here. We all feel pretty helpless. The people at UNICEF seem to know how to help the kids in Ukraine, Gaza & Armenia (amongst, sadly, many other countries). Donate to UNICEF by clicking through this big box here. We’ll be updating our games this year but not much else, sorry.

FAIRY BREAD

Fairy bread party food

A super simple but surprisingly really tasty treat, Fairy Bread is making its escape from children’s birthday parties and landing on our tables for Eurovision. It’s bread, butter, and hundreds and thousands. What more do you need? Thank you, Australia, you wonderful land full of wonderful people and Fairy Bread.

WE MADE THIS!

There isn’t really much else to say. We could get lost in the nuances of margarine vs butter, crusts on vs off, white bread vs anything else… but we’ve got Fairy Bread to tuck into. This is cute and fun and incredibly more-ish.

TIME: 5 mins / DIFFICULTY: EASY / BEST FRESH

ingredients

METHOD

1.
We cut our bread into little hearts using cookie cutters first. If you’re going to cut your bread into the more traditional triangle, save that step until last!

2.
Spread the butter onto your bread

3.
Pour the hundreds & thousands onto a plate, then press your bread – buttered side down – into them
