MERSEY MULE
INSPIRED BY The Mersey & Liverpool (ESC, 2023)
Kind of like a Moscow Mule, but with gin instead of vodka! A really nice spiced gin like Opihr works best, and if you like extra heat you could try a ginger beer instead of ale.
We also just love using these mule mugs.

ingredients
- 2 measures gin
- 1/4 lemon wedge
- top with ginger ale
TO SERVE
- Mule mug or Collins glass
METHOD
1.
Fill your mug or glass with ice, add the gin and a squeeze of lemon
2.
Add the lemon wedge and STIR!
3.
Top with ginger ale (or beer if you’re feeling fiery), and serve
