An Old Fashioned is one of our favourite cocktails. Netta has been one of our favourite contestants. One of these is even better with maple syrup…
Toy was one hell of a song, so only right that we pay tribute with one hell of a cocktail.
STRENGTH: 4/5 | SWEETNESS: 2/5 | DIFFICULTY: EASY
ingredients
- 2 measures bourbon
- 3/4 measure maple syrup
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- Ice
TO SERVE
- Old fashioned glass
METHOD
1.
Place a couple of ice cubes in the glass and add half of the bourbon
2.
Stir for a minute or so (don’t skimp on this part, it’s essential)
3.
Add the maple syrup, bitters, and a couple more ice cubes
4.
Stir for another minute or so
5.
Add the final measure of bourbon and a couple more ice cubes
6.
Stir again for at least a minute
