Simple and refreshing! Sure, it’s just tomato, mayo and chives on buttered rye bread, but when you’ve got big juicy vine-ripened tomatoes, it transforms into a summer delicacy. A classic example of Scandinavian simplicity.

Rye bread, sliced
Butter
2 tomatoes, sliced
Mayonnaise
Chives
Salt & pepper

    Butter your rye bread slices, then place your tomato slices on top with a little salt & pepper.

    Add the mayonnaise over the tomatoes and decorate with a sprinkling of chives.
