A twist on Sangria, this half red wine / half cola cocktail sounds like it shouldn’t work, but it really does. Use a Hungarian wine if you can find one, we used a Shiraz that had been knocking around the cupboard when testing which was fine. Don’t let Nigella near it, she’ll try and cook a ham in it.

Paprika crisps are recommended, but optional!

Ingredients
1 part red wine
1 part cola
Ice cubes
To serve
Highball glass
Lemon slice garnish
Steps
  • 1.

    Fill glass with ice

  • 2.

    Add red wine and cola, and stir!

  • 3.

    Garnish with lemon slice
