Sparkling, juicy and sweet this long cocktail from Finland receives 12 points from Mission Eurovision!

There should be more cocktails made with Apricot Brandy. Fact. The syrupy, almost jammy flavour provides the perfect balance to the extra-dry vermouth and lemon juice. The Cointreau provides depth of flavour without adding too much strength or sweetness.

We served this traditionally with a lemon slice, but you could use a twist of orange peel instead.

Ingredients
1/2 measure Cointreau
1 1/2 measures apricot brandy
1 measure extra dry vermouth
1 measure lemon juice
Top with lemonade
To serve
Highball glass
Lemon slice to garnish
Steps
  • 1.

    Fill your cocktail shaker with ice, and add the Cointreau, brandy, vermouth and lemon juice

  • 2.

    Shake it!

  • 3.

    Strain into your glass, and top with lemonade to taste
