Beer-y and light, the Alsterwasser is a tasty thirst-quencher after all of the potato and bacon dishes we’ve eaten!
This takes us back to our childhood – everyone else was treated to a can of shandy when they were a kid, right? We used a proper Pilsner in our recipe, however if you didn’t want to dilute the good beer you could put that Barlscurg left over from New Years out of its misery and pep it up with a little lemonade.
If we were irresponsible people, we’d suggest trying this with a hard lemonade. But we’re not, so we won’t.
